Terms and Conditions of Sale

Kid Saclai – Club, Robotics Lab and Holiday Camps · Version applicable from 27 September 2026

This English version is provided for information. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version (Conditions générales de vente) prevails.

Article 1 – Provider details

In these Terms, "Kid Saclai" means the company SACLAI acting under its Kid Saclai brand.

Kid Saclai offers educational activities for children in robotics, programming, artificial intelligence, engineering and technological creativity.

Article 2 – Purpose and scope

These Terms set out the conditions under which Kid Saclai offers parents or legal guardians (the "Client") the registration of their children for its activities: the Robotics and AI Club (the "Club"), the Robotics Lab (the "Lab") and the Holiday Camps (the "Camps").

Any booking or pre-registration implies the Client's prior and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

The Client declares that they are of legal age and hold parental authority, or are duly authorised by the holder of parental authority, to register the child concerned.

Article 3 – Venues and calendar

The activities take place at partner venues that host the sessions. Kid Saclai organises and supervises the activities; the partner venues do not operate them.

  • Paris for Kids: 48 rue Greneta, 75002 Paris
  • ABI School: 12 rue Claude Pouillet, 75017 Paris
  • Nid'Air: 3 rue Alexandre Néreau, 91120 Palaiseau
  • Association Culturelle Franco-Japonaise de Tenri: 8-12 rue Bertin Poirée, 75001 Paris (Camps)

No Club or Lab sessions take place during French school holidays (Zone C) or on public holidays. The applicable dates, times and venues are those shown at the time of booking.

Article 4 – The Robotics and AI Club

4.1 Description

The Club is a weekly after-school activity in small groups for children aged 6 to 16. Sessions last 1 hour. Children build, program, test and present their creations as a team.

4.2 Time slots

  • Paris for Kids: Saturday, 10:00 to 11:00 or 11:00 to 12:00
  • ABI School: Wednesday, 15:00 to 16:00 or 16:00 to 17:00
  • Nid'Air: Tuesday, 17:00 to 18:00; Wednesday, 9:00 to 10:00 or 10:00 to 11:00

The child is registered in a single time slot, which they keep for the entire duration of their plan.

4.3 Plans

PlanContentVenuesPrice incl. VAT
Trial session1 sessionAll Club venues€49
MonthlyPack of 4 consecutive sessionsParis for Kids€150
Annual30 sessions, excluding school holidaysABI School, Nid'Air€890

Monthly pack. The pack includes 4 consecutive sessions in the chosen time slot. During school holidays and public holidays, the pack is paused: all 4 sessions are delivered in full, and the last one may take place after the holidays. Each pack is purchased separately; there is no automatic renewal.

Annual plan. The annual plan covers 30 sessions over the school year, excluding school holidays. For registrations during the year, the price is calculated pro rata on the remaining sessions, at €29.67 per session, rounded to the nearest euro, up to a maximum of €890.

4.4 Trial session credit

When a child has attended a €49 Trial session and the Client then registers them for the Club, this amount is deducted once from the first registration:

  • €150 monthly pack: €101 remaining to pay;
  • €890 annual plan: €841 remaining to pay (or the pro rata price less €49).

The credit may be used within 30 days of the Trial session, by the child who attended it. It cannot be combined with other offers, refunded or exchanged for cash. The Trial session is not part of the sessions of the plan booked afterwards.

4.5 Group size

Club groups have a maximum of 8 children. Kid Saclai may decide not to open a time slot with fewer than 4 registered children (Article 8).

Article 5 – The Robotics Lab

5.1 Description

The Lab is a progression path in robotics, programming and artificial intelligence, organised into 12 grades across four levels (Builder, Coder, Creator, Innovator). It is open to children from age 8. Sessions last 1 hour 30 minutes. Each group has a maximum of 6 children, with one kit per child. At each grade, the child completes and presents a project.

5.2 Time slots

  • Paris for Kids: Wednesday, 10:00 to 11:30. The Client may also propose another time slot (Article 5.4).
  • Nid'Air: Tuesday, 16:30 to 18:00.

5.3 Plan and price

The Lab is offered as a monthly pack of 4 consecutive 1 hour 30 minute sessions, at a price of €196 including VAT (€49 per session). The rules on pausing during school holidays and the absence of automatic renewal set out in Article 4.3 apply. There is no Trial session for the Lab.

5.4 Pre-registration and opening of time slots

Registration for the Lab starts with a pre-registration, without payment. A time slot is confirmed as soon as 4 children are pre-registered for it. Kid Saclai then informs the Clients concerned by email and sends them a payment link. The booking becomes final under the conditions of Article 9.

The Client may propose another time slot at Paris for Kids. This proposal is not binding on either the Client or Kid Saclai. Kid Saclai opens a new time slot when enough families request a compatible time.

When a Lab time slot and a Club time slot overlap at the same venue, the first of the two to reach 4 registrations is opened; the other is closed to new registrations and the pre-registered families are offered another option.

5.5 Grades and certificates

At the end of each grade, the facilitator indicates whether the grade's skills are "Achieved" or "Not yet". There are no marks and no rankings. A child who is not yet ready continues at the same grade.

Each achieved grade gives rise to a Kid Saclai level certificate. This certificate is neither a diploma nor an official certification. The path is inspired by the UNESCO AI competency framework for students (2024), without being validated or recognised by UNESCO.

The indicative pace is one grade per half-term; it is not guaranteed and depends on each child's own pace (Article 23).

Article 6 – Holiday Camps

6.1 Description

Camps run over 5 consecutive full days during school holidays, from 10:00 to 17:00. Children bring their own lunch. They carry out a team project, presented on the fifth day. Like a real project team, they learn to think together, decide together, handle disagreements and reach a shared solution, with support from Kid Saclai.

  • Group 1 (ages 10 to 16): "Design the factory of tomorrow". The project involves programming in Python. No prior knowledge is required: each child works at their own level, using block-based programming to discover or Python to go further. At registration, the Client indicates whether the child has already programmed in Python; this information is used only to prepare the right level and is not a condition of registration.
  • Group 2 (ages 6 to 9): "Build the city of tomorrow". No prior knowledge is required.

6.2 Autumn (Toussaint) 2026 Camps

The Autumn 2026 Camps take place at the Association Culturelle Franco-Japonaise de Tenri, 8-12 rue Bertin Poirée, 75001 Paris:

  • Group 1 (ages 10 to 16): Monday 19 to Friday 23 October 2026;
  • Group 2 (ages 6 to 9): Monday 26 to Friday 30 October 2026.

6.3 Price and group size

The price of a Camp is €589 including VAT for the 5 days.

Each Camp welcomes 10 to 30 children. A Camp is confirmed once 10 children are registered. If this number is not reached 7 days before the first day, Kid Saclai informs the Client and offers either another Camp or a full refund of the sums paid, at the Client's choice.

6.4 Regulated group care for minors

Where the French regulations on group care for minors (accueils collectifs de mineurs) apply, the Camps are organised in accordance with them, in particular regarding declaration, staff qualifications and supervision ratios.

Article 7 – Prices

The applicable prices are those displayed on the Kid Saclai website at the time of booking. They are stated in euros, including all taxes.

No registration fee is charged.

Any subsequent price change does not apply to bookings already confirmed.

Article 8 – Minimum numbers and opening of time slots

Kid Saclai may decide not to open a Club or Lab time slot with fewer than 4 children, or a Camp with fewer than 10 children. Kid Saclai informs the Client no later than 48 hours before the first session (7 days for a Camp) and offers, at the Client's choice:

  • another time slot;
  • another venue;
  • postponement to a later date;
  • or a full refund of the sums paid.

Article 9 – Booking

The booking becomes final after:

  1. selection of the plan, venue and time slot;
  2. provision of the requested information about the child and their legal guardian;
  3. acceptance of these Terms;
  4. payment of the amount due;
  5. receipt of a booking confirmation by email.

For the Lab, these steps take place after the time slot has been confirmed as set out in Article 5.4.

Kid Saclai may refuse a registration when the group concerned is full or when the conditions needed to welcome the child cannot reasonably be met. In that case, nothing is owed and any payment already made is refunded in full.

Article 10 – Payment

Payment is made using the methods offered on the website at the time of booking. Unless otherwise stated, the full price is due at the time of booking.

The annual Club plan may be paid in two equal instalments, according to the schedule shown at the time of booking. Paying in two instalments does not change the annual commitment set out in Article 11.

Payments are processed by a secure payment provider. Kid Saclai does not have access to the Client's full bank details and does not store them.

Article 11 – Annual plan commitment

The annual Club plan commits the Client for the current school year, whether paid in one or two instalments, subject to the right of withdrawal (Article 14).

By way of exception, the Client may end the annual plan for a legitimate and documented reason, in particular a move of more than 30 km from the activity venue or a medical contraindication of at least one month supported by a medical certificate. The remaining sessions are then refunded pro rata, at €29.67 per session.

Article 12 – Child's absence

Registration reserves a place for the child for the entire duration of the chosen plan. A session missed because of the child or their family does not give rise to any refund or price reduction.

Where the organisation allows, Kid Saclai may offer a make-up session in another time slot, although this is not guaranteed.

By way of exception, if the child is absent for at least two consecutive sessions for a medical reason supported by a medical certificate, the missed sessions are converted into a credit note valid for 12 months on a future Kid Saclai activity.

Article 13 – Arrival, departure and lateness

The Client undertakes to respect the start and end times of sessions.

The child remains under the responsibility of their legal guardian until they are effectively handed over to the Kid Saclai team at the start of the session, and again from the end of the session.

At the end of the session, the child is handed over only to their legal guardian or to an adult designated in writing at registration. Kid Saclai may ask for proof of identity.

A child may leave the activity venue alone only with the prior written authorisation of their legal guardian.

In case of lateness, the Client informs Kid Saclai as soon as possible. Repeated or significant lateness may lead Kid Saclai to ask the Client to make suitable arrangements.

Article 14 – Right of withdrawal

14.1 Principle

When the booking is made remotely, in particular via the website, the consumer Client has 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons, in accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code.

14.2 Exercising the right of withdrawal

To exercise this right, the Client informs Kid Saclai of their decision by a clear and unambiguous statement, sent by email to registration@kidsaclai.com or by post to SACLAI – Kid Saclai, 7 rue Magellan, 91300 Massy, France. The Client may use the withdrawal form in the appendix, but this is not mandatory.

Kid Saclai refunds the sums due no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal decision, using the same payment method as the one used for the booking, unless the Client expressly agrees to another method.

14.3 Service starting during the withdrawal period

When the first session takes place before the end of the 14-day period, the Client must expressly request this at the time of booking.

If the Client exercises their right of withdrawal after the service has started, they remain liable for an amount corresponding to the sessions already provided up to the communication of their decision, calculated in proportion to the total price of the plan (Article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code). The balance is refunded.

When the service has been fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period, following the Client's express request and their acknowledgement of the loss of their right of withdrawal, the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised (Article L221-28, 1° of the French Consumer Code). This applies in particular to the Trial session once it has taken place.

Article 15 – Cancellation by the Client after the withdrawal period

This article applies without prejudice to the right of withdrawal set out in Article 14, which prevails throughout its duration, and to Article 11 for the annual plan.

Once the withdrawal period has expired, any cancellation request is sent to Kid Saclai in writing. The following conditions apply, depending on the time remaining before the first session or the first day of the Camp:

  • more than 14 days before: full refund;
  • between 7 and 14 days before: credit note for the amount paid, valid for 12 months on a Kid Saclai activity;
  • less than 7 days before, or after the service has started: no refund, except in exceptional circumstances assessed by Kid Saclai and subject to Article 12.

Article 16 – Cancellation or modification by Kid Saclai

Kid Saclai may exceptionally need to cancel or postpone a session, change a time, replace a facilitator with one of equivalent competence, or move a session to another suitable space nearby, in particular in case of a facilitator's absence, unavailability of the venue, insufficient numbers, technical incident or circumstances beyond its control.

Kid Saclai informs the Client as soon as possible and makes its best efforts to offer an equivalent solution.

When a session is cancelled by Kid Saclai without a replacement session, the price of the session not delivered is refunded or, at the Client's choice, credited as a credit note.

When the change concerns an essential element of the service (day, time, or a venue that is not nearby) and the Client does not accept it, the Client may cancel their booking and obtain a pro rata refund of the remaining sessions.

Article 17 – Behaviour and group life

Kid Saclai activities are based on respect for other children and facilitators, cooperation, listening, sharing equipment and responsible use of equipment.

Any behaviour that endangers the child, other participants, the team or the equipment may lead to intervention by the facilitator.

In case of serious or repeated behaviour, and after discussion with the legal guardian (except in a safety emergency), Kid Saclai may decide to suspend or end the child's participation. In that case, the remaining sessions are refunded pro rata.

Article 18 – Equipment

The teaching equipment (robots, kits, computers, tablets, sensors, electronic components, tools and accessories) provided during sessions, including the individual Lab kit, remains the property of Kid Saclai or its partners.

Children are supported in learning to use the equipment appropriately. Normal wear and tear and accidental damage are not charged to the Client.

In case of intentional damage, Kid Saclai may contact the legal guardian to review the situation and, where appropriate, request compensation limited to the damage actually suffered.

Article 19 – Digital tools and artificial intelligence

Activities may include the use of digital tools and artificial intelligence tools. Their use is always supervised by a facilitator, limited in time and built into a group activity.

In line with UNESCO recommendations (2023), generative artificial intelligence tools are used only with children aged 13 and over, under supervision. Before that age, children learn how artificial intelligence works without using generative tools.

No personal data about a child (name, photo, voice or any other identifying information) is entered into an artificial intelligence tool. Datasets used in sessions are about objects, never faces.

Children never use open-ended artificial intelligence tools without supervision.

Article 20 – Health and useful information about the child

The Client provides Kid Saclai with the information reasonably needed for the child's safety and proper care, in particular: a significant allergy, a special need requiring adjustments, or the contact details of a person to call in an emergency.

This information is limited to what is strictly necessary. Health information is collected with the express consent of the legal guardian, accessible only to the facilitators concerned and deleted at the end of the service, under the conditions set out in the Privacy Policy.

Article 21 – Emergencies

In case of an accident or a situation requiring urgent action, Kid Saclai takes the measures reasonably necessary to protect the child, calls the emergency services if needed and contacts the legal guardian as soon as possible.

Article 22 – Insurance

SACLAI holds professional liability insurance.

The Client is advised to hold civil liability insurance covering the child's extracurricular activities.

Article 23 – Liability and progression

Kid Saclai organises the activities with due care and in accordance with the announced conditions. Kid Saclai cannot guarantee a specific level of progress, achieving a grade within a given time, or any school result, as progress depends in particular on each child's age, experience, attendance and own pace.

Kid Saclai is not responsible for personal belongings lost, forgotten or damaged during sessions, except where it is at fault.

Article 24 – Intellectual property

The content developed by SACLAI under the Kid Saclai brand, in particular the teaching methodology, curriculum, grade system, challenges, exercises, worksheets, materials, texts, illustrations, presentations, facilitator documents, programme names, graphic elements, as well as the Kid Saclai brand and identity, remain the exclusive property of SACLAI or of their respective owners.

Registration grants only a personal and private right to use any materials given to the child as part of their learning.

Any reproduction, distribution, sale or exploitation of these materials, in particular to offer competing training, workshops or programmes, is prohibited without SACLAI's prior written authorisation.

The creations made by the child during sessions remain the child's own.

Article 25 – Image rights

Registering a child does not grant any authorisation to use their image.

Any use of a photograph or video in which a child can be identified, for communication purposes, requires a specific authorisation, separate from these Terms, which the legal guardian is free to give or refuse and may withdraw at any time.

Refusing authorisation has no effect on the child's participation in the activities.

Images illustrating the website may be generated by artificial intelligence; where this is the case, they are labelled as such.

Article 26 – Personal data

Personal data collected at registration, Lab pre-registration, time slot proposals or requests for information about an upcoming activity are used to manage bookings and payments, organise groups, contact legal guardians, handle administrative and educational follow-up, and ensure children's safety.

Only strictly necessary data is collected. Regarding the child: first name, age and, where relevant, level of programming experience.

SACLAI acts as data controller. Data is kept for as long as necessary for these purposes and to meet legal obligations. Unconfirmed pre-registrations, time slot proposals and information requests are deleted no later than 12 months after submission.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), the Client has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to the processing of, and port their data, which they can exercise by writing to registration@kidsaclai.com. They may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority).

Full details are set out in the Kid Saclai Privacy Policy, available on the website.

Article 27 – Force majeure

Neither party can be held liable for a failure resulting from force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

Kid Saclai first offers a postponement or an alternative solution. Failing that, sessions not delivered are refunded pro rata.

Article 28 – Complaints

Any question or complaint may be sent to:

SACLAI – Kid Saclai

7 rue Magellan, 91300 Massy, France

Email: registration@kidsaclai.com

Kid Saclai undertakes to respond within 15 days and to seek an amicable solution.

Article 29 – Consumer mediation

In accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, after a written complaint to Kid Saclai has not been resolved satisfactorily, the consumer Client may refer the matter, free of charge, to a consumer mediator.

Article 30 – Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties first seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the consumer Client may bring the matter before the competent court in accordance with the applicable legal rules.

Article 31 – Changes to the Terms

Kid Saclai may amend these Terms, in particular to reflect changes in its offer or in regulations.

The Terms applicable to a booking are those accepted by the Client at the time of that booking. Any subsequent change has no effect on bookings already concluded.

Article 32 – Acceptance of the Terms

These Terms are available at all times on the Kid Saclai website and must be read by the Client before any booking or pre-registration. Acceptance is recorded by ticking a checkbox.
